Chris Dewar

Design & Development Specialist / President

Chris Dewar has among the widest range of experience in the Ontario Bike Park design and development industry.  In addition to over a decade of multi-disciplinary riding experience, Chris has been a longstanding cycling advocate with professional experience as a design consultant, municipal employee and construction contractor.  Through these roles Chris has developed a comprehensive understanding of the entire development process, from consultation to site selection and analysis, conceptual and detailed design, agency approvals, contract tendering, construction and maintenance of over twenty bike park facilities.

Igor Dragoslavic

Director - MTB Operations

Igor Dragoslavic is arguably one of Ontario’s most talented and dedicated mountain bike trail developers.  With nearly two decades of extensive experience in all areas of trail operations, he has crafted his expertise in the planning, design, layout, construction and maintenance of several MTB trail systems, including a large portion of the renowned Waterloo ‘Hydrocut’ trails, and the master planned and built Batawa Trail system completed in 2018.  Igor possesses the vision, dedication and skill necessary to see all aspects of MTB and recreational trail through from concept to completion, with an emphasis on connectivity, flow, safety and sustainability.  As an advanced level cyclist and an experienced and certified heavy equipment operator, Igor is the mastermind behind our manageable and progressive trail networks.

Simon Cox

BMX Site Manager

Simon Cox handles site development for BMX specific projects and is a skilled equipment operator and hand shaper.  He is a naturally gifted rider and trail builder who refined his abilities at the infamous Cox BMX Trails in addition to numerous job sites throughout Southern Ontario. With extensive experience in all levels of track construction and maintenance, Simon possesses the ability to build, shape and ride the biggest and most challenging features.  He is an asset to the Transitions team and has adapted his skills to the field of MTB trail development, providing a keen sense of detail and flow to enhance the user experience.

Laura Dewar

Planner

Laura Dewar is a registered professional planner with more than 12 years of experience in both public and private sector roles, with a focus on development planning, design and approvals.  Laura understands the development process on a range of facilities, including public consultation, conceptual and detailed design review and policy interpretation.  Laura graduated from Queens university with a Master of Urban and Regional Planning.

Kyle Muscat

Operations & Corporate Development

Kyle Muscat is one of our recent hires and a welcome addition to the Transitions family. With
an honours degree in business from Wilfrid Laurier University, he brings a breadth of experience from his work terms in insurance, and background in construction. From tender and contract review to financial administration, he continues to prove an asset to our operations. Kyle is also an avid road cyclist and mountain bike enthusiast, drawing on his experiences to further develop our product offerings.

Brian Kloet

Field Operations

As our newest member of the team, Brian has proven himself as a capable and skilled track and trail builder and shaper and brings a hardworking and positive attitude to every project.  Brian is an elite level road racer, and his understanding of speed and physics has directly contributed to his ability to create the ideal feature shape and alignments. Brian is a valuable asset to both our BMX and MTB operations, ensuring features are smooth, safe, and fun to ride.
